It’s known for its mosques, mausoleums and other sites linked to the Silk Road, the ancient trade route between China and the Mediterranean. Samarkand, a major city on the route, contains a landmark of Islamic architecture: The Registan, a plaza bordered by 3 ornate, mosaic-covered religious schools dating to the 15th and 17th centuries.

Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival in Tashkent

Once you land at Islam Karimov Tashkent International Airport, our friendly representative will greet you and escort you and transfer to the hotel in Tashkent. Check-in to the hotel.

Day 2

Full-Day Tashkent City Tour

After enjoying a delicious buffet breakfast at the hotel, get ready to explore the beautiful capital city of Uzbekistan – Tashkent. This vibrant city perfectly blends modern architecture with rich Soviet-era history and traditional Islamic heritage.

Begin your tour with a visit to the Monument of Courage (1969), dedicated to the victims of the 1966 earthquake. Continue to the Romanov Prince Duke Residence and admire the exterior of the grand Alisher Navoi Opera and Ballet Theatre.

Visit the Memorial of Repressions Victims, decorated with traditional Uzbek ornaments, and see the iconic Tashkent TV Tower (outside view), one of the tallest structures in Central Asia.

Explore the historic Hazrat Imam Complex in the Old City, a spiritual center of Tashkent. Experience a ride at Pakhtakor Metro Station, known for its beautiful Soviet-era design.

Later, stroll through Chorsu Bazaar, a lively traditional market perfect for local shopping and street food, and enjoy free time at Tashkent City Mall for modern shopping and leisure.

Return to the hotel.

Day 3

Amirsoy Mountain Resort, Chimgan & Chorvoq

After breakfast, proceed to Amirsoy Mountain Resort, the largest and most modern ski resort in Uzbekistan, located in the Western Tian Shan Mountains, a Western Tian Shan. Opened in 2019 and described by Lonely Planet as the “next season St. Moritz,” the resort offers breathtaking mountain scenery and various optional activities such as cable car rides, ziplining, ATV rides, and chair lifts. Continue to the beautiful Chimgan Mountains, a natural escape known for its stunning landscapes where you can enjoy nature walks, horse riding, or simply relax while admiring the views. Later, have lunch at a local restaurant before visiting the picturesque Chorvoq Lake, surrounded by majestic mountains and perfect for photography, leisurely walks, or a short boat ride. En route, stop at Deer Hills, a beautiful scenic viewpoint offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. After a memorable day exploring the mountains and lakes, return to Tashkent for an overnight stay at the hotel

Day 4

Spend the Day at Your Leisure

Start your day with an early morning breakfast.

Evening at Leisure to explore the beauty of the town. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 5

Departure from Tashkent

21 days to 5 days before departure date – 90 %
