WHAT TO EXPECT
A Vision of Unified Spirituality
A unique blend of a temple and a palace, the Sanctuary of Truth is the visionary creation of renowned Thai businessman Lek Viryaphant. His goal was to unite Asia’s religions, spiritual traditions, and philosophies into a single, universal truth. Beyond its profound theme, the structure stands out as an architectural marvel, entirely carved from teak wood without the use of a single metal nail. Locally known as Wang Boran or Prasat Mai, this extraordinary sanctuary reflects timeless craftsmanship and deep spiritual symbolism.
Architectural Grandeur & Intricate Craftsmanship
Spread across more than 30 acres and rising to a height of 105 meters, the Sanctuary of Truth features four soaring spires representing the core religions of Thailand, China, Cambodia, and India. It is a magnificent showcase of ancient Thai artistry and a mesmerizing tribute to the seven elements: Earth, Heaven, Father, Mother, Sun, Moon, and Stars. Every corner of the structure is richly adorned with elaborate carvings of deities, mythical beings, and sacred scenes, with the striking image of Lord Buddha gracing the central hall as one of its most awe-inspiring highlights.
Seafront Setting & Cultural Experiences
Set against a breathtaking oceanfront backdrop, the Sanctuary of Truth offers an immersive exploration of art, culture, and spirituality. Depending on your visit timing, you can also traditional Thai dance performances, which add to your visit to this stunning seafront landmark.
