Known for its rainforest, beaches and cuisine, Malaysia comprises of 13 different states and each state is a tourist delight in some way or the other. Out of these Penang, Sarawak, and Sabah are extremely popular amongst tourists.
Penang: Comprising of two parts namely the George Town city and the Penang island, the state of Penang is the most tourist friendly and the most developed state of Malaysia. The city of George Town has been declared as a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Selangor: Famous for the Batu Caves, museums, and the beaches; Selangor offers some of the best outdoor activities for tourists including the adventure theme parks. The Carey island in Selangor is especially famous for sumptuous seafood.
Pahang: Pahang is known for its natural beauty and Taman Negara rainforest (earth’s oldest). Genting and Cameron highlands are almost always flooded with tourists. The state’s Timon island is a tourist’s paradise.
