This cruise takes you out onto Abu Dhabi's waters aboard a fully equipped vessel run by Rayna Tours' own crew, with the pace of the day left largely up to you. A maximum of five guests join each trip, keeping the boat uncrowded, and you will need your original passport or Emirates ID with you to come aboard. Before boarding, the crew runs through safety instructions and stays on hand throughout the trip, whether you want to fish or simply sit back and take in the coastline.
Once the cruise gets underway, the first stretch is given over to the views along the coast before the boat heads out into the Arabian Gulf toward some of the region's more productive fishing spots. Species such as snappers, catfish, barracudas and sharks move through these waters, and the crew points out what to look for as the cruise continues, whatever the conditions on the day.
For guests who want to fish, the crew supplies the rods and bait, sets everything up, and talks you through the local techniques and the species you might come across along the way. It works as well for a first outing as for someone who fishes regularly, since the crew handles the technical side of getting a line in the water and stays close by if you need a hand.
Any catch can be released, cooked fresh on board, or taken back to shore, depending on what you would rather do. Complimentary refreshments and snacks are available throughout the cruise, so there is no need to bring your own food or drink for the day. Rayna's own team manages the trip from pickup to drop-off at your Abu Dhabi hotel, so a point of contact is on hand throughout.
