Phi Phi Island on Big Boat

The Phi Phi Island Big Boat tour is a full-day cruise from Phuket aboard a large, stable vessel with open decks and cushioned seating, a step up in comfort from the smaller speedboats and long-tail boats used on some other routes to the same islands.

A more comfortable way to see Phi Phi

Rather than the cramped seating and jarring speed of a small boat, the Big Boat gives you room to move between the open deck and the shaded seating area, with Economy, Silver and Gold options available depending on the seat you book. The steadier hull also cuts down on the seasickness that can come with a fast speedboat crossing.

Hotel transfer and the crossing to Phi Phi Ley

A roundtrip hotel transfer takes you to the pier, and the boat sets out toward Phi Phi Ley, cruising past Ton Sai Bay along the way. The wider deck space and steadier ride let you move around and take in the coastline without the jolting motion of a smaller boat.

Lunch and swimming at Phi Phi Don

At Phi Phi Don, the boat stops for a buffet lunch served at a beachside restaurant, followed by free time to wade in the shallow water, float, or relax on the sand before reboarding. From May to October, a seasonal swimming stop at Monkey Beach is also included on the route.

Snorkelling at Koh Khai Nok

Before heading back to Phuket, the boat stops at Koh Khai Nok, where you can snorkel or swim in the clear water around the island. It is a quieter final stop after the busier lunch break at Phi Phi Don.

The boat then cruises back across open water to Phuket for the return transfer to your hotel. Rayna Tours' own team looks after the booking, seating and lunch arrangements, so a familiar point of contact is available throughout the day.

1. You will receive a booking confirmation number and voucher after completing your booking.
2. Carry a valid passport or photo ID, along with your voucher or booking confirmation number, to redeem your ticket.
3. Present these at the pier on the day of the tour.

• Your booking confirmation is valid only for the selected date and time.
• Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
• Eating, drinking and smoking are not permitted inside the transfer vehicle.
• Guests who do not use the included transfer must arrange their own transport to the pier.
• Pickup times on the voucher are approximate; be ready at your hotel lobby at least 5 minutes before the scheduled time, and allow for a wait of up to 60 minutes depending on traffic.
• National park fees are mandatory and not included in the base tour; choose the option with NPF included, or pay locally.
• Recommended attire for the island stops is shorts or a light T-shirt that can get wet, with slippers; bring swimwear, a towel, sunblock, a hat, sunglasses and a camera.
• This tour is not recommended for seniors above 70, pregnant women, children under 1 year, or guests with high blood pressure, heart conditions or other health issues.
• The tour is not wheelchair accessible, and participation can be declined for guests considered high risk.
• You can cancel free of charge up to 72 hours before the tour date.
