It covers around 100,000 square metres and holds more than 100 stalls selling seafood, fruit, vegetables, handicrafts, textiles, ceramics and antiques.

Stalls sell handcrafted wood and textile goods, antiques and hand-painted ceramics alongside street food made from local and seasonal produce. Some ticket options include a ride through the market's narrow canals in a small wooden boat, passing shops built over the water. Through the day, the market also runs entertainment such as sea boxing, Muay Thai and traditional dance and folk song performances that reflect regional Thai culture.

With wooden walkways, canal boats and stalls built in an old-style setting, the market offers a different pace and look from Pattaya's beach and nightlife areas nearby.
