Built in the 19th century by King Ludwig II, Neuschwanstein Castle is a masterpiece inspired by mythology and fantasy. Its striking white towers are world famous and even served as the inspiration for Sleeping Beauty Castle.

Enjoy panoramic views of mountains, lakes, and valleys from the castle grounds. Visit top viewpoints, admire the nearby Hohenschwangau Castle, and take in the dramatic scenery from Marienbrücke Bridge suspended high above a waterfall gorge. If time and weather allow, you may even have the chance to relax by the lake.
