Discover Scuba Diving by WaterColors

Discover Scuba Diving by WaterColors is a beginner-friendly introduction to scuba diving in the clear waters off Boracay, the Philippine island known worldwide for its powdery white sand beaches. No certification or prior diving experience is required, and the session runs within the centre's operating hours of 8:30 am to 1 pm.

The session starts on dry land with a safety briefing and an instructional video that walks you through the basics of breathing underwater and using scuba gear, so you know what to expect before getting wet. From there, a PADI-certified dive master takes you into shallow water to practice core skills, fitting your mask, clearing your regulator and controlling your buoyancy, at your own pace and under close supervision. Once you are comfortable, the dive master guides you into open water for a controlled dive, staying close throughout so you can focus on the fish, coral and other marine life around you rather than the mechanics of the dive itself.

All scuba equipment is provided as part of the session, so you only need to bring a valid ID and a swimsuit. Rayna's team is on hand to help with your booking before and after your dive, even though the session itself is run by WaterColors' dive instructors.
