Sunset Dinner Cruise

The Langkawi Sunset Dinner Cruise is a four hour boat tour across the Andaman Sea, timed to catch sunset over Langkawi's islands. It combines a sightseeing cruise, an open-sea swim, a barbecue dinner and live entertainment aboard a single vessel.

A hotel transfer can be arranged separately as an optional add-on if you'd rather not make your own way to the departure point on Jalan Teluk Baru; otherwise you head straight there for boarding.

Sailing at sunset
The cruise winds past the small islets around Langkawi, giving you views of limestone karsts and green coastline as the sky turns shades of pink and orange with the setting sun. Time on deck is built around the scenery first, with the sunset views forming the backdrop for everything else that happens on board, from the swim to the dinner service later in the evening.

The jacuzzi net swim
One of the cruise's signature features is the saltwater jacuzzi, a net let out behind the boat that forms a pool in open water. Guests wear a life jacket and hang on as the boat drags the net along at a gentle pace, so it feels closer to a jacuzzi jet than open swimming, and it's included as part of the cruise.

Dinner and entertainment
As the sun goes down, a barbecue buffet dinner is served alongside an open bar pouring cocktails, wines, beers and non-alcoholic drinks. Live entertainment plays through the evening, and if you'd rather stay active than sit down, a 10 minute kayaking session and a 10 minute session on a paddleboard are available too, subject to availability. A shower room on board lets you rinse off after the swim before dinner.
