Bursa and Uludag Mountain Tour with Lunch and Cable Car Experience

This full-day tour combines the historic city of Bursa with the mountain scenery of Uludag, departing Istanbul's European side for a day that mixes culture, food and a cable car ride.

A driver collects you from your hotel on the European side of Istanbul, from areas including Sultanahmet, Laleli, Aksaray, Taksim, Sirkeci and Sisli, for the drive out of the city and toward the coast, where the route later crosses by ferry or the Osmangazi Bridge.

Yalova and Bursa

An optional stop in Yalova offers a choice between an ATV safari or simply relaxing in nature, before the drive continues into Bursa. There, you can browse Turkish delight and souvenir shops, see the city's Historic Plane Tree and stop at a local jam house to sample regional products, before sitting down to a Turkish mixed grill lunch with one soft drink included at a local restaurant.

Uludag Mountain

From Bursa, the tour heads up to Uludag, known in antiquity as Mysian Olympus and today one of Turkey's best known mountain destinations, where free time allows for seasonal activities such as skiing in winter or nature walks in summer. A cable car ride adds panoramic views over the mountain and the valley below, and a minibus takes skiers up to the slopes on days when the cable car is not running due to weather.

The day wraps up with a visit to Bursa's historic Green Complex, a mausoleum and mosque complex from the early Ottoman period, before the return to Istanbul by ferry.
