English

This full day tour leaves Ho Chi Minh City for Tay Ninh Province, combining a mountain, a cable car and one of Vietnam's most distinctive places of worship in a single round trip. A hotel pickup in an air-conditioned vehicle starts the day, with an English-speaking guide travelling with the group throughout.

Ba Den Mountain by cable car

After breakfast featuring the local Trang Bang Banh Canh noodle dish, the group heads up Ba Den Mountain by cable car, a ride that opens onto wide views over the surrounding countryside. At Linh Son Tien Thach Pagoda, the guide shares the story of the Black Virgin, the figure behind the mountain's long history as a pilgrimage site.

Buddhist monuments at the summit

At the top, the tour takes in the Tay Bo Da Son complex and a tall bronze Buddha statue, one of the largest of its kind in Southeast Asia, set among gardens built for quiet walking between the viewpoints.

The Cao Dai Holy See

The afternoon moves to the Cao Dai Holy See, the global centre of Cao Daiism, a religion that draws on Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism, Christianity and Islam. The building's colourful interior and detailed decoration are worth the visit alone, and depending on the day's schedule, the group may also see the daily prayer ceremony taking place inside.

Go Ken Pagoda and the return journey

Before heading back to the city, the tour stops at Go Ken Pagoda, one of the older Buddhist temples in Tay Ninh, known for its quiet grounds and traditional Vietnamese design. Lunch is served at Long Dien Son Tourist Area along the way, with bottled water and cold towels provided for the journey.

Because Rayna's own team manages the pickup and guide arrangements for this tour, any questions about timing on the day can go straight through your booking voucher.
