Day 1

Haridwar to Barkot via Mussoorie

Your journey begins with a morning departure from Haridwar. Drive towards Barkot via the scenic hill station of Mussoorie, known for its lush greenery and panoramic viewpoints. En route, enjoy beautiful views of the Shivalik ranges, cascading valleys, and winding mountain roads. You may take short breaks at Mussoorie to explore local spots or simply soak in the cool mountain air. Continue your journey towards Barkot, located on the banks of the Yamuna River. Arrive by evening, check in to your hotel, and relax after the drive.

After an early breakfast, drive to Janki Chatti, the base point for the Yamunotri trek. Begin your 6 km trek to Yamunotri Temple. The trail passes through scenic mountain paths, waterfalls, and lush surroundings. Pilgrims can choose to walk or opt for pony or palki services for convenience. At the temple, take a holy dip in the thermal waters of Surya Kund and offer prayers to Goddess Yamuna. The spiritual ambiance combined with the natural beauty creates a peaceful and divine experience. After darshan, trek back to Janki Chatti and drive to Barkot.

After breakfast, begin your journey to Guptkashi, a key halt for Kedarnath pilgrims. This is one of the longer drives of the trip, passing through beautiful valleys, river confluences (prayags), and scenic mountain landscapes. Enjoy the changing terrain as you move deeper into the Himalayas. Arrive in Guptkashi by evening, check in to your hotel, and relax.

Early morning, drive to Sonprayag and begin your trek to Kedarnath Temple. Pony, palki, and helicopter services are available for those seeking assistance. On reaching Kedarnath, check in to your accommodation and visit the temple for evening darshan. The spiritual energy of the temple, set against the dramatic Himalayan backdrop, makes for an unforgettable experience.

Wake up early to attend the morning darshan at Kedarnath Temple, known for its peaceful and divine atmosphere. After darshan, begin your descent trek to Sonprayag. The return journey allows you to enjoy different perspectives of the scenic landscape. On reaching Sonprayag, drive back to Guptkashi. Check in to your hotel and relax after the strenuous day.

As this is an NSOP (Non-Scheduled Operator Permit) flight, timings are tentative and subject to permissions and weather conditions. We recommend booking your return flight keeping one buffer day to allow for any potential delays. Nothing is covered by the package on the final day of arrival in Dehradun from Badrinath; just the drop-off at your departure location is included.

Flexible Flying Time:
Flying time is subject to permissions and weather conditions.   Changes may occur due to weather or technical reasons.

Body Weight Limitation:
Each helicopter can accommodate up to 6 passengers with a total weight limitation of 445 kg for all 6 passengers.
WE reserves the right to de-board passengers if the actual body weight deviates from what was provided at the time of booking.
No refunds will be provided for any passenger who is de-boarded due to incorrect body weight.
Passengers are requested to provide exact body weight measured on an electronic scale.
Passengers with a body weight of above 75 kg will be charged INR 2,500 per kg excess. This amount will be collected in Dehradun before the flight.
If the given body weight is incorrect, passengers will be charged INR 3,000 per kg on the final check by the pilot, or they will be de- boarded without any refund.
A penalty of INR 1,20,000 + GST before departure shall be imposed in case weight of the passengers crosses the 450 kg mark, and flying will only take place subject to Pilot & AME's call.
Passengers can't be exchanged at the last minute or before 48 hrs of the scheduled departure.

Luggage Weight:
1 small soft bag (max. 3 kg) per passenger, this duffel bag will be provided by us on the day of arrival.
Hard-case luggage or large bags are not allowed.

Flying Schedule:
Dham sequence may vary due to weather, technical issues, or government permissions.
The departure time and sequence are subject to change.
New Dodham passengers scheduled for departure from Dehradun on any respective travel date shall be our top priority over the backlog passengers of the previous date.

Hotel Accommodation:
WE holds the right to change the hotels at flight origin and destination based on hotel availability.
Groups of 6 passengers or more may have to stay in different hotels as they will be traveling in different helicopters due to body weight limitations.
Rooms are booked on double or triple sharing basis only.
For single occupancy rooms, an additional charge of INR 40000 per person (tax inclusive) will apply.
Any extra night halt at either of the hotel at any of the dhams or Dehradun will be directly payable by the guest on the same day. In case of extra night halt hotels can be changed depending on the availability.

Bad Weather Conditions:
Flying in the hills is subject to bad weather conditions, Force Majeure factors, such as:
Delayed Air Traffic Clearances/Permissions/ VVIP Movements / Valley Flying by Indian Air Force (NOTAM)/ Technical Snags in Aircraft/ Illness of Flying Crew/ Late Reporting of Passengers at helipads.
Passengers should be prepared to face eventualities and inconveniences in such scenarios.
It is strongly advised to keep one additional day beyond the 3N4D itinerary to avoid inconvenience in case of delays due to bad weather or Force Majeure events.
Itinerary amendments may occur due to backlogs, bad weather, or natural circumstances, where we may cover: Dodham or Ekdham in 1 days.
In most cases, if there is a backlog due to bad weather, the trip may be cancelled.
Tour may be treated as cancelled in case no flying is done from
Dehradun and we may not shift the same to next day in case of backlog.

Airport Transfers:
Transfers are only provided on arrival and departure days.
Additional charges apply for transfers to Haridwar/Rishikesh (INR 9500 per cab).

Passenger Grouping:
A single vehicle will be provided for a group of 6 passengers throughout the tour.
Passengers may be shifted between helicopters for safe weight distribution.

Infants:
Infants under 2 years travel free with valid ID/Birth Certificate.

Kedarnath Shuttle:
Kedarnath Shuttle (Basecamp to Kedarnath) is under the control of IRCTC and there are possibilities of delays.
We can't prioritize charter passengers. In case we are not able to cover the Kedarnath on the day of arrival at basecamp, we will fly on the next day and after having darshans, fly to Badrinath on the same day.
There is also a possibility of passengers being split into different shuttle flights due to IRCTC’s management and scheduling of the Kedarnath helicopter services.

Medical/Special Conditions:
Inform us in advance if any medical or special conditions exist. We reserve the right to de-board passengers who do not disclose this information.

No Flying:
If there is no flying due to bad weather or force majeure, we will provide a proportional refund (excluding taxes, royalty fees and 10% flight preparation charges).
Refund will be processed after 30 working days once the season completes.
If we attempt to fly but fail to land at the destination due to weather or any external factor, 20% of the total booking amount will be deducted as flight preparation and operational cost.

Regulatory Permissions:
Please note that flights are strictly subject to weather conditions and clearances from all relevant authorities, including DGCA, ATC, and local administration.
There may be situations where other operators’ helicopters are flying, but our company prioritizes safety above all and will proceed only after receiving all necessary approvals and being fully confident in operational safety.
In such cases, we may delay or cancel the tour entirely, if conditions are not deemed safe or permissions are not granted in full.
Passenger safety is our top priority, and we do not take unnecessary risks under any circumstances.
In case DGCA, State Government, or any regulatory authority mandates a reduction in the passenger capacity of the helicopter (for example, reducing from 6 pax to 4 pax) at any time before departure, then the cost difference for the reduced seats will be distributed equally among the remaining passengers, and the extra cost must be paid before boarding.
Our packages and costing are based on 6-passenger occupancy, and any reduction in allowable capacity by authorities is beyond the control of the operator.

Emergency Evacuation Policy:
In case of an emergency, the decision to initiate an evacuation whether by road or any other means will rest solely with the company, based on safety assessments and operational considerations. If the evacuation is approved and arranged by the company, all associated transportation costs will be borne by the company.
Refund or credit note (if any) shall be issued as per actual utilization and operator policy.
However, if a guest chooses to travel independently, make alternate arrangements, or disregard company guidance and the evacuation has not been authorized by the company then the full cost of such travel will be the guest’s responsibility. No refunds or reimbursements will be provided in such instances.
Guests are respectfully advised to follow on-ground instructions at all times to ensure their safety and a smooth travel experience.

National/State Emergency:
In case passengers test COVID positive before the travel, or the Yatra gets called-off by the government, or any National or State emergency is imposed, there will be no refunds applicable.
However, passengers will be provided a Credit Voucher by WE against the advance paid. It can be utilized against any of our helicopter tours or charter services by the passengers or any of their friends/relatives.

Credit Note / Voucher:
In the event a credit note or voucher is issued, it will hold a fixed monetary value as communicated to the client at the time of issuance.
When the client chooses to redeem the credit note/voucher for future travel, if there is any increase in the tour/package price, the client will be required to pay the difference between the credit note value and the current applicable price.
The credit note/voucher is transferable and may be used by any immediate family member, relative, or friend of the original client, provided prior written intimation is given to the company.
  • In case Tours or Tickets cancelled after Booking 100 % charges will be applicable.
Rescheduling of Booking:
25% charge applies for rescheduling 30 days before the tour.
Less than 30 days’ notice will result in a fresh booking with applicable cancellation charges.

Payment Terms:
50% deposit at the time of booking; balance due 30 days before departure. Full payment is required before departure to board the helicopter.

No Show Policy:
If the passenger fails to report at the scheduled time or location, it will be treated as a no-show, and no refund will be applicable.

Force Majeure & Bad Weather Refunds:
There shall be no refund or compensation in case of any government- imposed restrictions, natural calamities, pandemics (including Covid-19), war, or any national emergency, either before or during the Yatra.

Tour Cost: If 1 Dham is completed and 1 Dham is left out, INR 10,000 approx. Each person will be refunded as a credit note. This cost is exclusive of other expenses like extra night halt, extra transfers, or any extra services utilized beyond the package inclusions.

Additional Services: The cost of additional services provided at any Dham will be deducted from the refundable Tour Cost.

Refund for Unutilized Services: No refund will be provided for any unutilized services because these services are booked in advance before the commencement of the season.

Any changes in the govt policies and SOP's will be adhered.

Any increase in government levies or taxes, after the confirmation of booking, will be extra chargeable to the passengers. Payment against the same will have to be done before the commencement of tour.
While the tour is ongoing, if any group demands to cancel their tour mid- way, the arrangement of transportation will be done by WE; however, the cost for the same will be borne by the passengers on direct payment basis. We are the service provider for the Chardham Helicopter tour only. Hence, WE are not responsible or liable for any refund if your further plan is disturbed due to bad weather (Example - Hotel Bookings after returning to Dehradun from the trip, Flights, Bus or Train tickets).

In the event of an unforeseen emergency such as medical concerns, sudden weather changes, or official instructions, if a guest is called back from any Dham (for example, from Kedarnath basecamp) by helicopter or any other means before completing the darshan, the visit to that Dham will be considered as completed.
