Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival and Transfer to Gangtok

Upon arrival at NJP Railway Station or IXB Airport, you begin your scenic drive through winding mountain roads and lush green valleys toward Gangtok. The journey offers beautiful views of the Teesta River and surrounding hills. After reaching Gangtok, check into your hotel and spend the evening at leisure, exploring the local markets or simply relaxing amidst the cool mountain air.

Day 2

Excursion to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir

The day starts with an excursion to the stunning Tsomgo Lake, located at a high altitude and known for its changing colors with the seasons. You continue onward to Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir, a revered shrine dedicated to an Indian army soldier. Due to restricted access, permits are required and proper documents must be carried. In case of landslides or unfavorable weather conditions, alternative sightseeing will be arranged before returning to Gangtok for the night.

Day 3

Gangtok to Lachung via North Sikkim

After breakfast, you embark on a picturesque yet adventurous journey to Lachung in North Sikkim. The route passes through scenic mountain landscapes, waterfalls, and remote villages. Due to the challenging terrain, specific vehicles are recommended for this stretch. Upon arrival in Lachung, check into your hotel and unwind amidst the serene Himalayan surroundings.

Day 4

Excursion to Gurudongmar Lake and Return to Lachung

Early in the morning, you set out for one of the highest lakes in the world, Gurudongmar Lake. Surrounded by snow-capped peaks, this sacred lake offers a truly surreal experience. After spending some time soaking in the beauty and tranquility, you return to Lachung by evening after a long yet rewarding day.

Day 5

Yumthang Valley Excursion and Return to Gangtok

After breakfast, you visit the picturesque Yumthang Valley, known for its vibrant alpine flowers and breathtaking landscapes. During spring, the valley transforms into a colorful paradise. After exploring the valley, you begin your journey back to Gangtok, arriving by evening for an overnight stay.

Day 6

Gangtok to Pelling via Namchi

Today, you travel to Pelling via Namchi. En route, you visit the famous Siddheshwar Dham, a spiritual complex housing replicas of major Hindu pilgrimage sites, and the serene Sai Temple Namchi. After sightseeing, continue to Pelling and check into your hotel for the night.

Day 7

Full-Day Sightseeing in Pelling

The day is dedicated to exploring the natural and cultural attractions of Pelling. You begin with visits to Darap Village, Rimbi Waterfalls, the sacred Khecheopalri Lake, and the majestic Khangchendzongha Waterfalls. Later, you explore the historic Pemayangtse Monastery, the ruins of Rabdantse Ruins, and enjoy panoramic views from the Skywalk at Sang-Ngag Choling along with a visit to the New Helipad Ground.

Day 8

Transfer from Pelling to Darjeeling

After breakfast, you drive to Darjeeling, a charming hill station known for its tea gardens and colonial charm. The journey offers scenic views of rolling hills and valleys. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and relax or explore the local surroundings.

Day 9

Darjeeling Full-Day Sightseeing

Early morning, you visit Tiger Hill to witness a spectacular sunrise over Mount Kanchenjunga. The rest of the day includes visits to the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, Tenzing Rock, Ropeway, Tibetan Refugee Self Help Centre, a tea garden (outer view), and the peaceful Japanese Peace Pagoda Darjeeling. After a fulfilling day, return to your hotel.

Day 10

Departure

After breakfast, you bid farewell to the hills as you transfer to NJP Railway Station or IXB Airport, carrying unforgettable memories of your Sikkim and Darjeeling journey.

Important Information

Check-in & Check-out Timings: Standard hotel check-in time is 14:00 hrs and check-out time is 12:00 hrs. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability and hotel policy.
Booking Confirmation: All bookings are subject to availability at the time of confirmation. Rates may vary during peak periods, holidays, or long weekends.
Travel Documents: Guests are requested to carry a valid government-issued photo ID at the time of check-in. Foreign nationals must carry their passports and valid visas.
Vehicle Usage: Vehicle will be provided as per the itinerary and point-to-point basis only. It will not be available for unlimited use or at disposal after the sightseeing tour ends for the day.
Monument Entry Fees: Entry tickets to monuments, camera/video charges, and local guide services are not included unless specified.
Meals: Meals are provided as mentioned in the inclusions. Any additional meals or room service will be chargeable.
Children Policy: Child rates apply as per hotel policy. Please check at the time of booking for extra bed or without bed options.
Unforeseen Circumstances: Rayna Tours is not responsible for delays, cancellations, or changes in itinerary due to weather conditions, natural calamities, strikes, or any circumstances beyond our control.
Health & Safety: Guests are advised to carry necessary medication and check travel advisories before travel.
Amendments & Cancellations: Any changes after confirmation may attract amendment or cancellation charges as per hotel and transport policies.
Package Validity: The package cost and inclusions are valid for the period mentioned and may vary depending on travel dates and group size.

Booking Policy

We require a minimum of 7 days cancellation notice prior to your scheduled departure, otherwise, we will charge you a cancellation fee as below:

• 50% of your total amount will be charged if you do not inform us of your cancellation (or any changes affecting the initial booking) by 6 to 3 days before your scheduled departure.

• 100% of your total amount will be charged if you cancel within 2 days of the scheduled departure or No show.

Payment Terms

To confirm your booking and ensure smooth arrangements, please take note of our standard payment terms:

Booking Confirmation:

A minimum advance payment of 25%–50% of the total package cost is required at the time of booking.
The exact advance amount will depend on the type of package, hotel category, and travel season.

Balance Payment:

The remaining balance must be settled 10–15 days prior to the travel date.
For last-minute bookings (within 10 days of travel), 100% payment is required at the time of confirmation.

Mode of Payment:

Payments can be made via bank transfer, UPI, or authorized payment gateway shared by Rayna Tours.
Credit/debit card payments may attract additional bank processing charges.

Booking Confirmation Vouchers:

Final confirmation vouchers (hotel, transport, sightseeing, etc.) will be shared only after full payment is received.
