Seabreacher in Dubai

Seabreacher in Dubai puts you aboard a submersible watercraft shaped and built to move like a shark, cutting across the surface before diving beneath it. Rayna Tours runs the activity along Dubai's coastline, with an expert instructor at the controls and space for up to two people on board for a 15-minute ride.

Once you're strapped in, the instructor takes the Seabreacher through a run of side-rolls, breaches and shakes on the surface before pushing it under the water. During the ride, the craft can lift up to 20 feet into the air on a breach and dive around 7 feet beneath the surface, giving you a rare mix of airborne views and a brief look at what lies underwater. The whole sequence happens quickly, so expect a short, sharp burst of movement rather than a long, gentle cruise, with the instructor managing the craft throughout so you can focus on the ride itself.

Because you may end up partly submerged during the dives, swimming ability is mandatory for everyone on board, and you should carry your own towel and swimwear for afterward. The activity is open to guests aged 16 and above, and it is not recommended for anyone with an existing medical condition, even though the ride itself is run under expert control. A copy of your passport or Emirates ID is required on the day, and it is worth confirming your booking slot in advance since sessions run subject to availability and can fill up quickly.
