Rayna's horse riding experience takes visitors onto Dubai's desert trails on horseback, suited to complete beginners and experienced riders alike. The ride runs for about an hour, with hotel transfers arranged as part of the package, and horse riding is available in Dubai throughout the year.

You are collected from your Dubai hotel or residence and taken to one of the city's professional riding stables, where experienced guides match you with a horse suited to your experience level before you set off.

The rides take place in Dubai's desert parks, along well maintained equestrian trails that wind through wooded desert landscape rather than open dunes. Riders sit in the saddle of gaited horses, chosen for a smoother, steadier gait that makes the ride comfortable even for those on horseback for the first time. Riders who want to explore the scenery at a relaxed pace can simply sit back and unwind in the saddle, while more experienced riders can push on at a quicker pace to cover more ground and take in more of the surrounding terrain.

Before setting off, novice riders receive basic riding instruction and safety guidance from the stable's experienced team, covering how to hold the reins, sit correctly in the saddle and communicate with the horse throughout the ride. Soft drinks and water are provided during the activity to help you stay comfortable in the desert heat.

Rayna's team arranges the transfer and the stable booking so you can turn up and ride, then meets you again for the drop off back to your hotel once the session ends. The experience is built around giving both first time and experienced riders a comfortable, well guided introduction to Dubai's equestrian trails.
