Itinerary

Day 1

NJP Railway Station or IXB Airport to Darjeeling

Upon arrival at NJP Railway Station or IXB Airport, you will begin your scenic drive to Darjeeling, famously known as the “Queen of Hills.” The journey winds through lush tea gardens, misty hills, and charming villages, offering a refreshing introduction to the Himalayas. After reaching Darjeeling, check into your hotel and spend the rest of the evening at leisure, soaking in the cool mountain air and serene surroundings.

Day 2

Darjeeling Full Day Sightseeing with Tiger Hill

Start your day early with a visit to Tiger Hill to witness a spectacular sunrise over the snow-capped Kanchenjunga. Later, continue your sightseeing tour covering the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute and the adjacent Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park. You will also visit Tenzing Rock, enjoy a ride on the Darjeeling Ropeway, and explore the Tibetan Refugee Self Help Centre. The day also includes an outer view of lush tea gardens and a peaceful stop at the Japanese Temple.

Day 3

Darjeeling to Pelling

After breakfast, proceed towards Pelling, a tranquil destination known for its stunning mountain views. The drive takes you through scenic landscapes, rivers, and forested hills. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and relax while enjoying the peaceful ambiance and mesmerizing views of the Himalayas.

Day 4

Pelling Full Day Sightseeing with Skywalk

Today’s exploration of Pelling takes you to picturesque attractions such as Darap Village, Rimbi Waterfalls, and the sacred Khecheopalri Lake, revered by locals. You will also visit the majestic Khangchendzongha Waterfalls. In the second half of the day, explore the historic Pemayangtse Monastery and the ancient Rabdentse Ruins. The visit to the Skywalk at Sang-Ngag Choling offers thrilling views, followed by a stop at the New Helipad Ground for panoramic scenery.

Day 5

Pelling to Gangtok via Namchi

Begin your journey to Gangtok via Namchi, enjoying scenic mountain roads along the way. En route, visit Siddheshwar Dham, a significant spiritual site featuring replicas of major pilgrimage destinations, along with the Sai Temple. Continue your drive to Gangtok, where you will check in and relax for the evening.

Day 6

Excursion to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir

Embark on an exciting excursion to the high-altitude Tsomgo Lake, a glacial lake surrounded by rugged mountains and changing seasonal beauty. Continue further to visit Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir, a revered site dedicated to an Indian army soldier. Due to the altitude and weather conditions, permits are required for this visit, and in case of landslides or road closures, alternative sightseeing will be arranged.

Day 7

Gangtok Full Day Local Sightseeing

Explore the highlights of Gangtok, starting with Tashi View Point, followed by visits to Ganesh Tok and Hanuman Tok, offering spectacular views of the surrounding hills. Continue to the Cottage Industry and Handicraft Centre and the Namgyal Institute of Tibetology to learn about Tibetan culture. The tour also includes visits to Dro-dul Chorten, Gonjang Monastery, and the scenic Banjakhri Falls, making for a culturally rich and visually stunning day.

Day 8

Gangtok to NJP Railway Station or IXB Airport

Important Information

Check-in & Check-out Timings: Standard hotel check-in time is 14:00 hrs and check-out time is 12:00 hrs. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability and hotel policy.
Booking Confirmation: All bookings are subject to availability at the time of confirmation. Rates may vary during peak periods, holidays, or long weekends.
Travel Documents: Guests are requested to carry a valid government-issued photo ID at the time of check-in. Foreign nationals must carry their passports and valid visas.
Vehicle Usage: Vehicle will be provided as per the itinerary and point-to-point basis only. It will not be available for unlimited use or at disposal after the sightseeing tour ends for the day.
Monument Entry Fees: Entry tickets to monuments, camera/video charges, and local guide services are not included unless specified.
Meals: Meals are provided as mentioned in the inclusions. Any additional meals or room service will be chargeable.
Children Policy: Child rates apply as per hotel policy. Please check at the time of booking for extra bed or without bed options.
Unforeseen Circumstances: Rayna Tours is not responsible for delays, cancellations, or changes in itinerary due to weather conditions, natural calamities, strikes, or any circumstances beyond our control.
Health & Safety: Guests are advised to carry necessary medication and check travel advisories before travel.
Amendments & Cancellations: Any changes after confirmation may attract amendment or cancellation charges as per hotel and transport policies.
Package Validity: The package cost and inclusions are valid for the period mentioned and may vary depending on travel dates and group size.

Booking Policy

We require a minimum of 7 days cancellation notice prior to your scheduled departure, otherwise, we will charge you a cancellation fee as below:

• 50% of your total amount will be charged if you do not inform us of your cancellation (or any changes affecting the initial booking) by 6 to 3 days before your scheduled departure.

• 100% of your total amount will be charged if you cancel within 2 days of the scheduled departure or No show.

Payment Terms

To confirm your booking and ensure smooth arrangements, please take note of our standard payment terms:

Booking Confirmation:

A minimum advance payment of 25%–50% of the total package cost is required at the time of booking.
The exact advance amount will depend on the type of package, hotel category, and travel season.

Balance Payment:

The remaining balance must be settled 10–15 days prior to the travel date.
For last-minute bookings (within 10 days of travel), 100% payment is required at the time of confirmation.

Mode of Payment:

Payments can be made via bank transfer, UPI, or authorized payment gateway shared by Rayna Tours.
Credit/debit card payments may attract additional bank processing charges.

Booking Confirmation Vouchers:

Final confirmation vouchers (hotel, transport, sightseeing, etc.) will be shared only after full payment is received.
