Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival in Colombo and transfer to Bentota

Day one of your Sri Lanka getaway begins with a warm welcome from our representative at the airport arrival lounge, setting the tone for a smooth and memorable journey ahead. Enjoy a relaxing two-hour sightseeing tour in Bentota, covering two key attractions: the serene Kande Viharaya Temple, renowned for its impressive Buddha statue and peaceful surroundings, and the picturesque Madu River, where a gentle boat ride introduces you to lush mangroves, small islands, and local wildlife. This short excursion offers a perfect blend of cultural insight and natural beauty, ideal for unwinding while exploring Bentota’s highlights.

Location 1: Kande Viharaya Temple

Visit the historic Kande Viharaya Temple in Kalutara, famous for its 48-meter Samadhi Buddha statue. Founded in 1734, the temple complex includes a stupa, sacred Bo Tree, image house, and a Sri Vishnu shrine, set in a peaceful natural setting. Modest dress is recommended.

Location 2: Madu River

Enjoy a boat safari along the scenic Madu River, surrounded by lush mangroves and 64 small islands. This rich wetland is home to diverse wildlife, including birds and reptiles, and offers a chance to observe traditional Sri Lankan stilt fishing.

Day 2

Transfer From Bentota To Yala

Arrive in Yala via a private transfer and spend a relaxing evening at your accommodation at DoubleTree by Hilton Weerawila Rajawarna Resort.

The rest of the day can be spent at leisure, or you may choose to add an optional activity at an additional cost.

Madu River Boat Safari (Ticket only, suitable for Adult, Child, Senior, Infant)

Day 3

Yala National Park

Embark on a one-hour sightseeing experience in Yala, featuring a visit to the renowned Yala National Park. Yala National Park is Sri Lanka’s most famous wildlife reserve. Located in the southeast of the island, the park is known for its diverse landscapes and rich wildlife, including elephants, leopards, crocodiles, and a wide variety of bird species. Spanning nearly 979 square kilometers, Yala is the country’s second-largest and most visited national park. Established as a wildlife sanctuary in 1900 and declared a national park in 1938, it remains one of Sri Lanka’s oldest protected areas and a must-visit destination for wildlife enthusiasts.

Day 4

Yala to Colombo Transfer

Enjoy a 1.75-hour sightseeing tour of Colombo, offering a glimpse into the city’s rich history, culture, and architectural heritage. The tour covers three of Colombo’s most iconic landmarks, beginning with a visit to the National Museum of Colombo, where you can explore exhibits showcasing Sri Lanka’s royal regalia, ancient artifacts, and cultural heritage. Continue to Independence Square, a significant national monument symbolizing the country’s independence and freedom, set amidst beautifully landscaped surroundings. The tour concludes with a visit to the historic Old Parliament Building, an elegant colonial-era structure that reflects Colombo’s political history and architectural charm. Day 5

Departure from Colombo

After enjoying a relaxed breakfast at your hotel, depart Colombo and proceed to the airport for your onward journey. Important Information

The rates are subject to availability at the time of booking. Flight & hotel fare may change at any point of time. Your earliest confirmation is highly appreciated.
Hotel check- in time is 14:00 hrs. & check-out time is 12:00 hrs. In case of an early arrival before the check- in time, Rooms must be booked from the previous night with the corresponding charges in order to guarantee an early check in. Late checkout is subject to availability.

Payment Terms

Payment Terms:

Total amount of the flight & hotel cost is required at the time of booking.
The balance payment must be made 21 days prior to the departure failing which the services may be released.

Confirmation Vouchers & Travel Documents:

You will receive the Booking Confirmation with flight ticket within 24 hours of the payment made.
Hotel confirmation, Land voucher and travel insurance will be given to you 72 hours prior to departure
Please carry your original travel documents while travelling like valid passport with valid hard copies of flight ticket, hotel & land confirmation voucher, travel insurance and other related documents.
