You can even take a trip to Duiker Island and relax at Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve. On Cape Peninsula’s east coast, be sure to visit Simon’s Town, which is a colony of African penguins! You can visit the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens on the way back and enjoy finding out which plants are native to Cape Town. Check out the Bo-Kaap Islamic neighbourhood which is full of atmospheric quaint streets, very colourful buildings, mosques and great street food.
