Cape Town is defined by the enormous and absolutely glorious Table Mountain National Park, which is the biggest landmark in the city. The park is huge, with several magnificent natural landscapes that visitors love to explore. The park contains the historic Company’s Gardens,
Green Point Park and Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens as well. There are several other natural attractions in Cape Town aimed at pleasing visitors. Nearly everyone in Cape Town will be able to trace their families back to the colonial times and relate their painful histories. People speak Dutch, English and a language that’s a mix of Dutch and local tongues, called Afrikaans. The towns of Cape Town are charming and atmospheric. If you like whales, head over to Hermanus, where you can watch whales as they migrate. This place is also a base for some adrenalin-rush activities, primarily shark-cave diving. As you drive down the coast and over mountain passes, several inspiring natural wonders will keep the nature lover in you transfixed and longing for more.
