Singapore Nature and Wildlife

The Singapore Zoo is a great place to enjoy a complete day out. It was a refreshing experience to see thousands of wildlife animals of different species from such a close distant. The fact that none of the animals were caged made me extremely happy. The management has really provided animals with areas fit for their survival. There are different zones inside the Zoo such as the Frozen Tundra, Fragile Forest, Wild Africa, Reptile Garden, and the Australian Outback. Each of the zones is unique in its own way. The Frozen Tundra offers chilly atmosphere for polar bear. The Fragile Forest is best to enjoy the rainforest and learn about mangrove ecosystems. And the Australian Outback is where you can see Australian animal species like emu and kangaroos. You can also opt for a tram ride in case you are tired walking. I enjoyed the entire package of Singapore Zoo with Tram Ride to the my heart's content.

The Singapore Zoo is by far the best zoo I have visited so far in other parts of the world. It is beautifully designed to allow the animal species dwell in natural environment. It was touching to see that all the inhabitants of the zoo were well taken care of. Enjoyed the tram ride and watching orangutans, kangaroos, and deadly reptiles. A must see place for all ages.

The Jurong Bird Park is an open playground for varieties of birds. The Park offers a natural environment for hundreds of endangered bird species. The entire setting is fabulous. Among the so many varieties of birds in the Park, the flamingos and penguins are the ones not to be missed. For nature enthusiasts, this place is like a heaven. Though there is a tram to ride, the best way to enjoy the Park is by walking. We also got to feed the colorful parrots. Our children were extremely happy being in the company of the birds. It is surely a must visit place with your family when you are in Singapore.

Our family visited the park in the second-half of the day and enjoyed since the heat and humidity by then had mellowed a bit. We loved the entire setting and the park management did take extra efforts in guiding visitors by displaying signage at strategic points. It was also clean and kept with the reputation of Singapore being the cleanest city in the world. Watching the pelicans, snow owls, flamingos, ostriches, penguins, and parrots among thousands of bird species was fun. What provided us with more happiness was the opportunity to feed and have lunch with the parrots. We were all engaged for some hours and admired the clean and natural surroundings of the park. Clearly, the Jurong Bird Park is indeed the best bird park in the world.
