submission of an official document issued by the relevant country (COVID passport) on complete vaccination or recovery from COVID-19 for passengers over 18 years of age and a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours before the flight

Submission of a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours before the flight for passengers aged from 1 to 18 years

Restrictions on travelling to and out of Azerbaijan by air or land are in force until the 1st of September, except for cargo and charter flights.

All passengers must also have a printed copy of a negative COVID-19 PCR test result from a test taken at most 48 hours before departure of the last direct flight to Azerbaijan. This does not apply to passengers younger than 1 year.

Citizens of Bahrain, Hungary, Israel, Qatar, Russia, Turkey, the United States of America, the United Kingdom and the United Arab Emirates must also have one of the following documents with a QR code:

  • a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing that they were fully vaccinated; or
  • a COVID-19 recovery certificate.

This does not apply to passengers younger than 18 years.

Residents of Bahrain, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates must also have one of the following documents with a QR code:

  • a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing that they were fully vaccinated; or
  • a COVID-19 recovery certificate.

This does not apply to passengers younger than 18 years.

Residents of Bahrain, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates are not entitled to visa on arrival in Azerbaijan if they hold a travel document issued to refugees and stateless persons. They must obtain a pre-arranged e-visa or visa from the Azerbaijan Embassy.
